You definitely and always should go to the doctor!! Call them. Call your insurance with a certified nurse to ask them the question!! I believe she might have been talking about your cervix. This is the opening at the top of your vagina, that holds the baby and fluids in. Some women just can't carry properly when there is something wrong with the cervix. No more wasting time now, you'll only hurt your baby. If it is your cervix, you NEED surgery or since you're already pregnant they'll put you on bed rest asap. Should have been from day one. CALL your doctor now or you'll probably for a third time have a miscarriage. This happened to a friend of mine, twice. She delivered both her babies, stillbirth, week 22 and 26. She is again pregnant with twins and still has not fixed the problem so now she is on bed rest for the whole pregnancy. Be calm and just find the right solutions by contacting a physician. Good Luck and congratulations.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but if you are 'pregnant' now, you will probably also lose this baby, for no other reason than it is 'too soon' since your last pregnancy for your body to have recovered fully enough to carry any baby 'to term.' If I was you, I would go back and ask that doctor who told you 'something' was 'too small' to EXPLAIN WHAT HE SAID in a CLEAR WAY THAT YOU CAN UNDERSTAND, and to answer any questions you might have ... and I don't have a 'clue' about what he told you to answer your question. I know that 'everything seems really bad' right now, but if you can 'wait' at least six months (a year is really 'best') and you find out that 'everything is all right with you' in your 'reproductive system' then you should be able to have a 'good, healthy baby' but you should also know that because you have had more than one miscarriage you should be seen ONLY at a 'high risk pregnancy clinic' and do EXACTLY WHAT THEY TELL YOU TO DO to get and stay pregnant. And if you believe in God, then now is a good time to start praying to Him ... and go ahead and tell Him 'everything' that you are thinking and feeling, because I know that MIRACLES DO HAPPEN. I was told by every doctor I ever saw (over 20) that I could simply never carry a baby for 17 different 'physical reasons' inside me ... but then I did get pregnant, did have a baby, and I finally gave birth to five kids, one of whom died of 'sudden infant death syndrome' at ten weeks, but the other four are all grown, and now I have two wonderful granddaughters and will probably have several more 'grands' before my kids are done. So try to RELAX, and HANG IN THERE ... and I'll say prayers for you, too.

Your cervix may have been too weak to hold the baby. You could see a specialist to help you. Some women with small frames have trouble. Those of us with big hips usually have no problems.

Perhaps a small cervix? Im sorry for your loss. Be sure to talk to your doctor and have her answer all your questions. Bring a pen and paper and write it all down.
