Hey i'm just curious... is there anyone that hates music? all kind of music? not just 1 type? I do!.. & most ppl can't believe it... there 1st answer is usually... I couldn't live w/out music!... but I couldn't live w/ music!.. I hate it! it's annoying!... is there anyone like me? do u hate all kinda music? =]]

Music in itself is not annoying, but the content is. That's what causes us to have different opinions about genres, specfic artists, etc. It's all due to our different musical tastes.
Personally, I have known no one that detests music, for music is preferable to noise. Music, in contrast to noise, has a pleasing quality, tone, rhythm, and beat. That's why we find it better, scientifically speaking.
The only time when I don't want to listen to music is when I'm trying to concentrate on something (which is practically most of my time). I only listen for leisure purposes.

considered one of my brothers is like that. He does not thoroughly hate song yet he does not rather shelter it the two. I advise, he will pay attention to it each and every now and then yet he might lots fairly watch television or do something else. He has some "well known" bands, yet only is attentive to three songs by skill of them. i'm no longer even a huge fan of AC/DC who he sites as a "well known" band yet i be attentive to much greater AC/DC songs than he does. If I play my song out loud around him he gets mad, he gets mad at me for making a song, he turns down the television while there is song on it. he's only standard no longer a musical man or woman in any respect. He additionally has some gentle gaining information of and psychological disabilities nevertheless which i think of might have something to do with it...he won't be able to rather get excitement from song. this is all i will get out of it via fact everyone else in our family contributors loves song.

I don't think there's anyone that really2 hates music.
It's probably because they're a strong auditory person.
Human has 5 strongest senses: Visual, Auditorial, Kinesthetic, Smell and Taste; while the scientist only take the first 3 as the strongest three for studying.
Now, if you're a auditory person, that means your strongest sense are your listening, and that also means that you're easely distracted by sound, and since you need them to study if it was distracted you can't study, right.
It's just like Riddick in the Crocicle of Riddick, He has a strong sight in means that he could see things with a very little light, so He hate light, since to much light will hurt his sight.
And it's just like a women that said that she hate a men, while actually it's because she love him so much...

I know this is odd, but I don't like to listen to music. What's odd about it is that I've been a professional musician for 18 years. In fact, every job I've ever had except 2 (one lasting only two months) has been music-related: musical instrument salesman, radio and mobile DJ, music instructor, performer, etc. The last thing I want to hear recreationally is music. I love to listen to audiobooks.

I suspect that you just havnt found the right kind of music. If you are depending on whats on the radio for your musical taste it's no wonder. Music is a mojor part of our american culture, church,tv, movies. we sing to our children to get them to go to sleep. Music sooths our inner beast. If you dont like music I can imagine that you must me a pretty miserable person to be around

then how can you watch tv or see movies? they have music playing almost all the time. i just can't understand how you can hate music. i love it 'cause it helps me concentrate on what i have to do, and not bad things that happen to me. music also brings life, well, to life. without music, life would be boring.

My Father-in-law hated music as well and all types.....the only time he would listen to music was when he was drunk and i mean very drunk. so nope your not the only one.
