any lies tend to make you go inside yourself and not put make yourself as vulnerable...so a thousand lies will do a number on your head! I guess it is in how you deal with it because the other person has the choice to lie or not and if they choose to lie, it is not your fault...

Yes. It's just too true that you can't look at things the same...
I try not to get too cold though. Because you know you can get hurt either way, so might as well go with the flow and enjoy yourself while it lasts.
