Was he a good moral teacher, was he really the "Son of God", was he a lunatic, what do you think?

I'm not saying that I do or don't believe, I'm just wondering what you believe.

Think of this: Here comes this guy, helping the poor and teaching along the way. The big wigs and brainiacs come along and try to refute him, but he has an answer for them, which does not sit well with their lifestyle nor credibility. He takes no money, but instead gives to them. He heals and does amazing miracles, again refuting and disturbing the big wigs and brainiacs. Now through all this, NOT ONCE does this man take up a sword, (Although Peter does.) Nor beguile the people of a political kingdom. But continues to walk among them as "Friends." Until, well... his death. Shouldn't that story tell you something about him? How is it possible for one man to conquer the known world with just words and not swords? That's pretty impressive to me under any standards.

What was written about him was geared toward particular audiences. So some books focused on miracles, some on compassion, etc... So I think we'll never know exactly who he was. I think he was probably someone like the Buddha (or even Bruce Lee, if you knew about his philosophy, you'd understand) who really looks outside of the conventional wisdom to see a broader truth. So being able to hang out with women and criminals in his time was a huge step outside of what a rabbi would do.

As for the crucifixion, that may be a sign that he was a little loopy, although some monks did the same thing during the Vietnam war and the Tibetan crisis by setting themselves on fire becuase they really believed in a cause.
Hope that helps

Only a lunatic or someone wanting an unpleasant place to spend his/her life after the temporary temporal life has ended would believe anything but that Jesus is the Son of God. Please be reminded that no representive of any other faith and certainly no magician has ever claimed to have come back from the dead nor to have brought the dead back to life (and asked nothing for it) during his period on earth. The ONLY reason that Jesus could be considered a lunatic would for him to have come here in the first place and knowingly offered himself up for a horrible death for the offer of salvation of lunatics that don't believe in what He offers us.

The Bible is true. Jesus is the son of God. I believe these things completely.

Either it was the largest hoax to ever happen. Either thousands of eye witness were fooled, educated men were deluded. or all about jesus was True and he really is the Son of God.
You see some claim that Jesus was just a prophet. But if you look into the definition of prophet it says that the words of prophets are always true.
So when the pharissee finally asked him if he was the son of God his answer was.
"I AM..."
So for him to be a prophet means he told the Truth.
And Truth has been said that he is Lord.

Jesus did not claim to write the bible. The bible was written over a few hundred years by several people. From what was written it appears Jesus was a moral man who really cared for other people. We are, each of us, children of God.

he is a good teacher but he is not a Son of God. He fooled himself and others are still fooled even to this day.
