I do that a lot, most of the time my wife knows and thinks it funny becasue I do it in a joking way, other times she thinks I'm weird because some of it doesn't make sense (again on purpose) to the conversation. But I always get a good laugh.
He knows what hes doing. It's kind of a game.

well i don't think so ? but my father-in-law trys to steal smart and in-depth saying from movies and trys to sound smart! until i shot him down and tell him the movie which he was quoting from. and then he stand there looking like an idiot with this stupid look on his face as if he was tolled off or something!!! LOL it so funny!

Yes and I can usually catch him and call him on it. Like if the line he uses is from Ace Ventura (his favorite movie), I'd day something like Ace can't help you today.

Yes, he watched Talledega nights and a couple days later we were out drinking. He said "I'm too drunk to taste this chicken" and then tried to pull it off like it was his. I called him on it and we had a good laugh though. : )
