There are many things which can delay conception...some of them very easy to remedy.
I have been charting for 7 years and love it. It allows me to tell when I am fertile, when I am not, and when I'm pregnant. It also allowed me to figure out why I was not conceiving (I had poor quality cervical fluid when TTC #1 and short lutea phase when TTC #2). I was able to fix each issue on my own.
My favorite book are Taking Charge of Your Fertility and Garden of Fertility. TCOYF has a website (ovusoft.com) and some software. There is free software available on Fertilityfriend.com and they also have charting tutorial.
Remember that mos women do not have textbook cycles. Sometimes it's not enough just to have sex every couple of days and day counting really doesn't work if you don't have a textbook or very regular cycle. Charting covers all those issues.
Good luck and hope that helps.

Only a fertility doctor can say for sure why your not getting pregnant, i can only tell you of some things that cause infertility and the way i got pregnant from my own experiences. First of all stress even in small form can cause infertility another could be the type of underclothing your husband wears. If he wears boxers the boys are usually hanging and if he would wear briefs the sperm count rises from the warmth.
Now this will sound odd but my fertility doctor gave us this perscription. Ice pops and pillows. Inserting icepops in the vaginal canal to cool for a few minutes makes the sperm who are warm swim harder to get to warmth where the eggs usually are as the ice pops cooling doesnt go that far. Next was to keep pillows under the hips for at least 30 minutes after he ejaculates which also makes it easier swimming time for the sperm. They dont have to work as hard or get tired. Like i said it sounds odd but my husband and i tried for years until that perscription, i now have a son whos 12 and perfect.
Hope this helps!

Your question brings back so memories for me i was desperate to become pregnant and after 4 years of marriage and visiting doctors i was told not to focus on becomming pregnant and relax more. I decided to take a holiday where i was totally relaxed didnt even think of babies. When i returned home after a few weeks i wasnt feeling that great. To my surprise yes i was pregnant. I sincerely wish u luck if u have gone through doctors etc and they have found nothing wrong just chill im sure this will work for u evenutally. God Bless

You know what worked for me is LOTS of sex. morning, day, night, middle of night. I am not going to tell you to see the doctor cause every one else will. You will figure it out. In the mean time have fun trying. wont hurt for you both to climax together. (it helps make the semen flow where it needs to go.

You need to go to a dr and get checked.
If its not you he might have a low sperm count.
I would say after 3 years hun you need to get a dr. involved. I never even had to try just have sex with hubby.

see a fertility specialist. do not see a gynecologists. a reproductive endocrinologists is better and can help u more.
it could be PCOS, hypo/hyperthyroidism, it could be your husband has a low sperm count.
