Please take this seriously.
One of my Loves was a situation similar to this. She wound up being violently assaulted and, luckily for her, she kicked the everloving crap out of him.
Get that restraining order as soon as possible.
When he breaks the restraining order, call the police immediately. I believe a restraining order stipulates how many feet he can be to your person. If he is following you home from work or school, have a cellular phone handy and call the police. If you see him near your home, car, work, etc., call.
Regarding the pepper spray or mace, check your local ordinances. In some places they are legal and some not. You do not want to be penalized for protecting yourself. If they are legal, get some and take classes in how to use it.
Regarding the self defense classes, I hope they were good ones.
Return the diamonds and flowers or any gifts. Do not return them in person... do so via the post or whoever he had deliver them.

first things first, tell the police he is breaking the restraining order.
2nd. if possible get mace and an alarm.
3rd get a dog, a german shepard is best.
4th have a friend pick you up or car pool, to work or school, some schools and jobs will escort you to and from your car, talk to head of security, explain the situation.
if he comes around, have a person you can call to meet you anywhere. If he follows you in public, embarass him. Dont be nice. Yell at him, say "stop following me, i am not interested"
good luck
i dont want to say you need a man, but getting a new boy friend might help.

If your ex is violating the restraining order, you should contact police and inform them that he is disobeying the restraining order. Make sure that you keep track of the time, place, and circumstances surrounding each incident in which he contacts you. Until then, it would be a good idea to carry pepper spray or something like that.

Invite him and his mother to your house. Cook them both a big meal. When his mother goes to the bathroom follow her with a garden hose and a camera, when you are convinced she is sitting taking care of business bust into the bathroom and begin hosing her down, capture all of this on camera. After the incident tell your ex that he either leaves you alone or the pictures will find their way all over the internet......

You guys need to talk this down. Tell him that your not going to make your mind on getting back to him. So you guys need to stop wasting each other's time.
If this didnt work, let your male friend know about this so he can do something about it to protect you.
Or tell the police about him breaking the restraining order.
Your not alone on this one, alot of people has similar experience.
So cheer up, you'll be fine.

Call the police and tell them that he's not obeying the restraining order. Get a stun gun. The kind that the electrodes shoot out, that way he doesn't have to be so close to you. Zap him!

Call the police every time. You deserve to be safe. Maybe you could move if that's an option.
