not sure who the right person is for the job but Des O is a big mistake, he just seems as if he is taking the micky at everyone

No one can replace the late Richard Whiteley, what a great person. In my opinion he was Mr. Countdown.
Carol seems to be taking control of the show now, but she is still best placed in the role she is in.
I would like to suggest guest's to front the show, as in Have I Got News For You.
Nothing against the show, but I feel it is in need of a face lift.

I'd agree with Curious. Terry Wogan does seem destined to front this programme.
I quite like countdown, quite a scrabble fan too!..Much shame heaped upon me!
You spell your name same as me, wrack you off when you only get one 'n'?..Or even worse, NO 'E'!!!!
