↓ Right-Hand click your "My Computer desktop icon"
↓ Select properties
↓ The RAM will be lisited in the system Information under the general tab
↓ You should be able to see if the RAM has increased.

Start--> RUN --> key in 'dxdiag'--> you will able to see your computer current hardware/software information through Direct X.
