It depends. What was the reason why they pushed you.

Assuming you were just standing there minding your own business...

You may be able to sue civilly for battery. Battery is defined as the harmful offensive touching of another without consent or privilege. Since the person pushed you, this would be considered a harmful touching because you did not consent to his pushing you, nor was he privileged in doing so.

Assault may apply here, but only if you were placed in fear of an immediate battery, i.e. you had to see this person coming at you and you were apprehensive that he might hit or push you.

Since you were not injured by the car, you'd have no other cause of action.

You CANNOT bring criminal charges against this person as suggested by other posters. Only the DA can file criminal charges.

Maybe.

You need to give more details. Was there any reason you were pushed? Did you or do you have any damages, physical or otherwise? Did you miss work because of it?

Most likely you do not have an actionable case but if you are serious about it go see a lawyer. You should be able to get a free initial consultation and they will be able to answer your questions with greater specificity.

You can sue for anything. Winning is a whole other thing. If I were you, I would forget about it and stay away from that person.

No. You can only sue for injuries, and it would appear as if you were not injured.

Holy crap! Not sure, but glad you're okay. That sucks!

I'm much more vindictive that a lawsuit - but that's all I'm going to say about that.

Yes. It is a criminal offense too, reckless endangerment and assault depending on the state of mind of the person that pushed you.
