From the Leigh Journal, first published Thursday 29th Jun 2006.

THE "roll your cap grandad" TV ad puzzler set by reader Pat Riding last week prompted readers to rack their brains - and they came up with two answers: Heinz tomato soup which was in the majority - or the PG Tips monkeys. I'll settle for the soup.

i have a vague memory from v. early childhood of an old grandad rolling his flat cap down his arm and back again. Then they had some Heinz tomato soup before going out walking in the country. Maybe i dreamt that though!
