Well because its a 2 gb nao ipod its the equivalent of a ford taurus- crap. The circuits probably died inside, if you had it out in the cold it might take a little while for it to work again, or there might just be a connection problem in the nano.

Press the menu and middle button (together) to restart it. do this till the Apple image comes up. this suggests its restarting the ipod 3. purely positioned it on the charger and leave it. Hey try holding your menu button and the select button (big button in the middle) for a few seconds. (like 20 to be sure) that should reset your ipod. if that doesnt work than you should call the apple support and get help there. Hope that helped

It depends on how many days are left on ur warrentee.I had the same problem.I Was 562 days out of my warrentee.So it all depends on how many days are left and if your within the warrentee date,you can get a replacement.

is the hold on? and somtimes it takes forever to turn on there ipods a piece of machine and just like humans you cant count on them to work, check out apple.com support and ask there helps alot i promise, ohh and if it is pluged into the computer it aint turnin on. unplug it
