at work and you feel helpless knowing you cannot help?

God yeah his pain is my pain,but try to be strong and listen loads, things do get better, I always think when times are bad, at least they can't get any worse,loads of love, cuddles and support goes a long way.

yes i know what you mean

when something is wrong with my kids i get that sickly churned up feeling before they have even told me that anything is the matter

its awful nothing you can think of will make it go away

It certainly does and also when you know your children are experiencing big challenges in their lives - however that is the time when you can reach out to them and although you can do nothing to help pratically you can show extra love to them which I'm sure helps.

totally- you want to take the pain for them - at least then you can have a go at solving th problem

yeah it dose and that only on a good day for me other times it affects my eating and sleeping and i cant concentrate no matter what i do

yup i get that way, its hard knowing you cant be there for them when they need you the most, not even for a hug.

no, its selfishness,and I have learned if its not happening to me,dont pick it up.
that done mean i am unable to be there for her.
