No, you don't have to take sides.. you can be both of their friends and tell them to keep you out of it.

If they were really close and you want to help, try to get them together and discuss the guy in the open. He may be playing them both and rather than to take sides let them know that you are uncomfortable with that. He is also probable enjoying the fact that they are making fools of themselves over him and when it is all said and done he will be gone, moved on to yet another girl and their friendship will be forever scared or ruined. NOT WORTH IT.

Just tell them that you don't want to be pulled into it and that you want to stay friends with both of them... and tell them that as much as they think he is, he's totally not ruining a friendship over... I know, My ex caused me and a good friend to not talk for 2 and a half years of high school, now we're seniors and finally getting along again once he and I broke up...

I would tell them you are friends with both of them and your not going to take sides because what there are doing is only hurtting them selves. Who ever ask you to take sides i wouldnt take theirs. I had the same problem... I lost a good friend by fighting overa man.... If i could turn back time i would. I hope your friends see what they have be4 its to late...

Yes, coz girls are best friends till they fall in love with the same guy.
We, as men, like it when 2 girls fight for you.
But the truth is they are not as good friends as they seem if they give up friendship for a guy.

A bunch of guys can get together for Monday Night Football or Poker night but you have Three Girls Together .... two will end-up teaming up on the third for some reason or another. Girls think other girls are competition. Whats wrong with you girls?

just tell them that a boy is not worth fighting over and losing a good friendship. there are other guys out there, and they are not as important as having friends that understand each other.

You'd be amazed, you should tell them that friendship always comes first, never let someone come in between, because when the relationship ends, your freinds will still be there for you.

We're not worth losing a friend over... You always need friends, after all how likely is it that this guy is 'The One' for either of them.....Unlikely I'd bet.
