Indeed they are. When fish are in cooler water they tend to move very sluggish. When returned to warmer water they move right along. Also, fish can only reproduce in the right environment, therefore they are classified as ectotherms or poikilothermic.

some are, some are a combination of ectothermic, poikilothermic & Bradymetabolism, depends on the fish. Tropical fish are generally ectothermic, cold water fish such as goldfish tend to be poikilothermic & bradymetabolism... so it depends on the fish...

yes- they are cold-blooded. They control body temp by going to different water depths.
freshwater bass in the hot months of july or august are usually found in the deepest part of a lake where it's much cooler.
