I am 29wks pregnant and i am so happy about this baby.
My baby comes first , but i haven't lost sight of the fact that i am still a person. Sometimes i think my fiance has.

He is so ecstatic about this child, he has wanted one for so long however, along the way, i sometimes think he forgets i am an actual "person" and not JUST the person carrying our child. EVERYTHING is about baby - which is all fine and good except he forgets ME in the equation. I feel like nothing more than a glorified baby-carrier at times. It's like, i cease to be me - especially since i'm showing so much and baby is so active. Everything is focussed on the baby - right down to the sex - its always about how this could be affecting baby and is baby ok with it etc - i want to scream sometimes! I love this baby too but I AM STILL A PERSON WHO EXISTS FOR MORE PURPOSES THAN TO CARRY THIS CHILD!

Can ANYONE relate? We've always had such a wonderful relationship, what can i do to make him see i'm still "me"?

As a retired baby incubator I can totally relate to how you're feeling. Try setting aside a bit of time each night when there is no baby talk allowed--set a timer if necessary.

My twin grandsons have been born at 36 weeks and a million had to stay on the wellness center some days longer. confident you sense empty. you have bonded with those little souls that have been a lot area of you. only save telling your self that they are in the wonderful place for them good now. in case you will get a video of them which you would be able to play and genuinely see them, it is going to help ease your empty hands to renowned that they are going to quickly be packed with infant. Get some sleep and mend your physique. you will desire it in the months to return. My son and DIL swear they never slept for the 1st 6 months

Just wait until your baby comes....then he will become second.
Its great that he is excited but talk to him about how you feel. Guys dont always know that they are being insensitive.

I think you're being a baby.
You should be ecstatic that your man wants this baby. Be grateful, and it will make you happier.
