but large corporations. One in particular that I am thinking of is the
BBC.
This started in the first half of the last century, in a very moderate
way.
This has now taken on global portions and has completely out done its usefullness.
Over four BILLION pounds is spent by the licence payer to support
this monstrosity.
With the coming of digital television we are to able to obtain many more television stations that are FREE.
As for 24 hr. news sky provides this free.
Channels three/four bbc are for a minatory audience bbc two is
hardly better which consist of mostly documentaries this again
appeals to a minatory.
Again with the radio service the commercial radio provides just as good or if not better service.
As adverts the bbc do this by promoting there oncoming
programmes
Need I say anything about bbc one.
Is the BBC really worth the money that the licence payer has
to fork out

Have you heard commercial radio? 24 hours a day of the top 10 on loop interspersed with a 50:50 ratio of mindless prattle and adverts for glaziers and car insurance.
The BBC radio is free, there has been no radio licence fee for several decades now. I listen to BBC radio every day free over the Internet.

It really pains me when they advertise that the BBC have news correspondents always on the spot in a whole mess of places and I think "oh, my licence fee is paying their blee*ing hotel bills".

I have just returned from a long walk with my pet Brontosaurus
he's a little scamp, he keeps chasing cats up trees and then he eats the tree..
And then on the way home he stood on my toe...
Oh how I laughed!
