When you were a little kid, what scared you?

I used to be scared of being kidnapped. I don't know why, I would never wander from my mother, talk to strangers or leave my front lawn/backyard. I wouldn't even play in my backyard if the gate was open.
Once this nice woman offered me gum when I was with my mother and I said no because I didn't want to take candy from strangers. I was a weird kid.
I am very paranoid for my daughter. I won't let her go an arm's length away from me if I let her let go of my hand.

Just bad men coming in my window--so I had big stuff animals around me so they would attack them and I could run out.

oh ill tell you. i lived in a funeral home and the embalming room right next door to my bedroom scared the sh!t out of me. what did i do...? slept with my parents until we moved out.
