hello! i'm writing an editorial about obesity/physical education requirements in american public schools. i was wondering, for those of you who live primarily in england, or anywhere that is not america, what are the physical education requirements at schools? HIGH SCHOOL only though. and if you would like, you could mention why you think obesity is such a problem here in the us and not in other countries, besides the obvious, such as video games, fast food, etc. but mainly i'm interested about the PHYSICAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS OUTSIDE THE US. lTHANK YOU.

There are many answers, here is one: "All you can eat" restaurants. We have a few of these in the UK, but the US is full of them. People feel they must get their money's worth and they stuff themselves silly. They take their kids along and encourage them to overeat, too.

i'm already conscious that this became right into a question from 2 years in the past , yet i am going with to proportion my opinion approximately this. in the initiating stable question , i'm no longer an american myself , (from someplace you do no longer assume ) , a million)i admire anime and manga for his or her animation form and high quality and specially for the tale ( If the tale is stable I watch the anime or examine the manga ,If the tale does not charm to me I drop the anime at episode 3 or 4 usually) 2)As while did this start up , as I pronounced no longer an american , yet in the place I stay I in basic terms understand very few anime followers . ( i does no longer call them otaku ,simply by fact all people has their ecosystem and socialize with different persons ,and that i in basic terms understand for my section 2 of them . And playstation : i wish to bypass to japan sometime for its cultural historical past first ,then for anime and manga cons ( in no way went to a minimum of one ) ( & you could no longer deny a rustic's historical past for some animation which comes from it.) Plus ,BTW i'm engaged on 2 mangas ,I had a narrative and planned the script for years now , and that i got here across that it somewhat is the way which "sounds like me the main" to precise myself ( no longer partial to novels that are long in basic terms to fill pages ,and that i'm an paintings fan extra often than no longer and a manga fan in specific ) i wish i would be waiting to post them and make people get exhilaration from analyzing my mangas ( the two paintings and storyline )

well in the uk all school children have to do 1 hour a week of pe as a lesson. but at my school we used to do more and only in year 10 and above did we start doing 1 hour only, but there are also many other clubs that lots of people join.
also, you say that obesity is a problem only in the us, but it is becoming more and more of a problem over here as well. it hink we are second but i'm not really sure.
hope this stuff helps
