Colds
The common cold, everyone gets them, yet there is no easy cure for it, but perhaps there are a few things that can be done to ease the common cold.
Vitamin C, one of those wonder vitamins, and it can really help reduce the amount of time you have a cold. The second you feel a cold coming on you should start taking more Vitamin C. It can shorten the length of the cold and make the symptoms less severe.
Zinc Lozenges can have the same effect, reduce the symptoms, and quicken recovery. Now this has been in the news of late and it can help.
Get plenty of rest, when you rest up your immune system is boosted up and it quickens the process of getting better.
Chicken soup, odd but true, it does help cure the common cold. Some chemicals in the soup help to heal. So drink up the soup.
Hot shower or bath can relieve congestion and breaks up the mucus.
Garlic, if you put garlic in your mouth and chew on it, the juices will help cure the cold. Garlic has a powerful antiviral agent and can knock out a cold in a few days.
A bath with a few drops of cinnamon in the bath water, it is said that this can relieve congestion, and generally make you feel better.

tea & honey and lemon for cough and sore throat
Drink tons of chicken broth--just hea water and add chicken bouillon cube
Garlic Tabs
Echinacea tabs take too long to build up in system so forget that for this time
vitamin C drops
Stay away from Orange Juice & milk ---They are great for vitamin C & D & calcium but SUCK ROYAL when you have a cold because they will cause you to produce more mucous.
Try to get some rest and drink lots of water so you can pee out bacteria.
Nyquil that will help you sleep thru the night.

this here's an old country remedy, so you'll have to have a possum on hand.
next, bring a pot of water to a boil. now grab a towel, and put it over your head. With your nose several inches from the hot water, and towel over head, inhale the vapors.
possum optional.

NyQuil works everytime for me, I take it, and when I wake up I take it again, and try and sleep one full day, usually it's out of me in less than 24 hours, and Vitamin C, Gatorade and chicken soup.
