While we were there in September 05 we went on 2 excursions. The first was was kayaking/snorkeling out to El Arco and Lovers Beach. It was awesome... there were seals swimming pretty close to us, and we passed the sea lions colony as well. The snorkeling was awesome! The guides on this tour were by far the best tour guides I have ever had on an excursion in Mexico-- I wish I remembered the tour company we booked through because I would DEFINITELY recommend them.
We also did the ATV tour and it was my favorite. It's about a 3.5 tour-- they take you along some of the most beautiful secluded bluffs. There are 2 20 minute stops where you have free reign within the place that you are stopped at-- I almost flipped my 4 wheeler over going up this hill- it was SO much fun!
We rented a car for the day and drove up to the capitol city of the Baja. It's a really small city with not a lot to do, but it was fun going somewhere off the beaten path. It does have the Hotel California there-- yeah, the one that the song is written about. Everyone raved about eating there, but when my husband and I got there, we felt like the price was pretty high for the stuff on the menu and ended up eating at a street vendor for about $10 for both of us. It was authentic Mexican and IT WAS GOOD!

I went swimming with dolphins there and really liked it. We also did a boat cruise that was fun. Ours had drinks and dinner but some are like designated "booze" cruises if your looking for that sort of thing. My friend and her husband drove ATV's on the beach and really liked that. I guess Cabo Wabo is the place to go for night life.
