Purple eye shadow is a no. So is blue or hot pink. I know a lot of girls wear the chunky bright colored eye shadow but it is not flattering. Try a natural colored bronzing one. Bedhead cosmetics has great eye shadow in non trashy colors.

I have a green eyes and I love wearing purple. Just don't wear dark purple. I have a color from Merle Norman called Lilac that looks great on my eyes. It is very light purple and has a little shimmer to it. I also use the Almay for green eyes eyeshadow kit, which I also think looks great. Just experiment with different colors.

Any eyeshadow is fine for your eyes. You can wear purple, vanilla, bronze, green, pink, gold, or blue if you want to, but it has been said that purple compliments green eyes the most.

Are you kidding me! Purple is a yes yes because it flatters all skin tones (especially lilac and eggplant tones) but the highly pigemented and bright purples should be reserved for fair/dark skinned girls and the over adventorous. Just make sure when you are wearing purple eyes shadow that you dust a a metallic version of the shade that your wearing just under the brow bone.

In the sources box I put a link showing Ashanti (a singer) who wears purple shadow flawlessy

I have green eyes. I would try a brownish plum purple as opposed to a lavender. Only do it on the lid and do a darker shade in the crease. It'll make your eyes look dramatic and greener than ever. Hope this helps!

I also have green eyes, and purple shadow of any shade looks great on me.
I would say purple eyeshadow is a HUGE yes-yes...haha.
I also love purple mascara...it makes green eyes pop.
Try many shades of purple...you'll love the way they make your eyes look.

Purple will look great with your green eyes! Just use a very light shade of purple from your lash line to your brow line. Then you can use a shimmery shade of it or a medium shade of it from your lash line to your crease. Then use a dark plum in the crease only. It will look great! And of course, pink looks good on everyone and green might look good, except for it might blend in with your eyes. So, yes, purple can be used and it will look great on you!

i say if it looks good then wear it who cares what others think just dont go overboard with it and come out looking like a clown lik mimi on the drew carey show with the blue gross anyway try lighter colors of purple or a mix of different shades of purple but remember to balance the colors with what else you wear in blush and lipstick so it doesnt look absurd play round with the looks and see what reactions you get from people ask your best friend how you look with the new look and if she cant be honest shes not your best friend just tell her not to be mean good luck with the purples

I wear purple all the time and I have brown eyes. It makes them very dark and mysterious. :) The trick is to not wear too much of it, and to stay away from very dark colors. Just a little will make your eyes pop.
And remember to highlight only one feature. Brighter eyes calls for neutral lips and cheeks. Bright lips; neutral eyes. And so on.
