what exactly does it do?? I Cell phone has like a 1.3 or 1.5 mega-pixel, and my digital camera has 6.......but, I mean, what do they do??? What does it mean??? And why is more better for good pics??

its how many million pixels the image is. its better to have more because it means the pixels are smaller so it can be a more clear image!

pixels are the dots that make up an image or even on a tv screen!

A mega-pixel is a million pixels, so it would be 1.3 million pixels.

A pixel is a dot basically that make up the picture. So the more dots or pixels a digital camera has, the better the resolution or the greater it can be increased in size.

You will likely not see a discernable difference between 1.3 and 1.5 MP, but you should see a big difference between those and the 6 MP camera.
