Could it have something to do with the fact that I posted it for "$.01"?


This is my first eBay listing, so I'm still learning... Thanks for any help.

To the first answerer: Well, it's not quite that small of an increment; when i tried to bid on it just now, it prompted me to bid at least 25 cents.

And I *did* put in a minimum starting bid: $0.01.

as the bid price increases....so does the bid incrament

If you don't put in a minimum starting bid, people can bid whatever they want.

Yes if you started bidding at .01 then you can expect the first bid to be .02.
