sacrificing a loved one. kinda like what God did. He sent his only son to die for humanity. THat would be extremely hard.

Wow. lots of christian answers on this one. and they're right. however I assume that you meant the greatest sacrifice a human could make. and since neither YHWH nor Yeshua were human it wouldnt be in the contextual frame that you meant. Therefore, the greatest sacrifice someone could make is to sacrifice yourself for someone you dont even know or simply for the good of a large mass of people. Kinf like when Spock stepped inside the radioactive place in that one Star Trek Movie. The good of the many outweighs the good of the few...or the one. Way to go Spock.

Dying in a fight to protect those that are most precious to you or for your country.
I think change would be second. Change is so hard for me.

Dying for a friend/loved one is the greatest...except dying for Christ, that would definitely be the ultimate sacrifice that a human could make.
