I'm not local to St.Charles, but some places to check-

1- Local college/university with a music department- they always have students looking for some extra income-for what they charge for the 30 minutes at the local music store, you can probably have someone come over to the house.

2- Local nonprofit community music school- they tend towards classical/orchestral, but frequently have group lessons-

3-If someone belongs to a church with a contemporary praise group, it's worth checking out-someone almost always teaches on the side, it tends to be a pretty wholesome environment, and once your grandson has the basics down, they're usually pretty good about getting developing players to play at services- then he gets to find out just how addicting applause can be!

Good Luck
