Do you think you know what your kids are up too?

Well, the older I get, the more I realize my own parents weren't as clueless as I thought. But you can never be 100% certain what your kids are doing at all times. Believe me when I say I will try my damnedest.

Our house is like Homeland Security. We have 2 teenage children (and an 8 year old, but he's not into anything YET) that feel that rules are made to be broken (we have like a total of 3 rules in our house and they can't follow those). We are strict, but not so much that the kids can't breathe. We allow them a lot of freedom on a contigency basis, they can tell us what time they are coming home but must adhere to what they tell us. If they go over to friends house the friends parents are to call us to tell us that there is supervision in the home. They are to respect us. But like I said, those 3 rules are really hard for them to follow.

They both have myspace accounts ONLY if we get their user name and password. We have a program that takes pics of the computer screen every 3 seconds, and we bug our phones.

All I have to say is we know what the kids are up to. We just don't know how to handle it and what to do about it. I sometimes wish we were in the dark and had no clue as to what they are doing. We don't want them to know that we bug the phone because that's when we get the most information. It's a no win situation here, but the kids are alive, that's the most important.

I'm a kid and o be honest I think parents worry too much. If parents always know exactly what's happening then that would be weird. Kids need to be left to their own defenses, to work out situations and get independence by themselves. That's how we learn! [And kids hate pushy parents]

My oldest son, is at Paris Island getting yelled at by drill instructor, My daughter is at work, my youngest son, 4 yo, is in the car with the most beautiful woman alive coming home from school

As long as the cops, feds or CIA do not knock on my door, I'm good. I always tell my son to cover his tracks and think about evidence GOING IN. I also have an excellent lawyer.

I do.... Because my kid is only 2.... LOL... However, most parents with older children really don't know what their child is actually up too. Good question...

Hopefully she's being a good little girl and listening to her teachers right now ... learning her heart out ... lol ... she's only 4 - ask me in a few years and I might have a different answer ... !

I thought I did, until couple of weeks ago when I got a call from the police to go pick him up as he had been arrested.
now I know he's under house arrest..........

of course i do i let my kids do whatever they want they r old enough to know wat der doin they are between 13 and 17. that`s old enough to make up your own mind. i let my 17 year old daughter have sex in my bed as long as she ask me before. because my bed is alot bigger than hers so i understand. i also let my 13 year old son get 2 girls pregnant is not my fault their mothers didn't teach them to keep their legs closed but my son is a boy he can have sex all he wants.i wuz so proud of him bcuz last week he ask me if he can get his whole back tattoed with a pic of mines just lyk da man from jackass. and yes i do know what my kids are up to bcuz if der gona do anything they let me know. just da other day i bought them weed n crack, i belive in being a liberal mother because when i wuz younger my parents didnt let me do much so i promice my self that i would allow my kids to do as they please beacause think about there gona do it any ways soo you might as well know about it.
