by heart here, i take it that you don't mean the 'organ' heart that has a functional use...but a heart that represents the true being that is 'me'...emotions, feelings, memories, suffering, love, soul...everything that makes up who a person IS.i don't think anybody can truly explore and find out the depth of one's own heart, or anybody else's for that matter...it can only be sensed, felt, and experienced...everyday may reveal a new depth that i was unaware of before, or the shallowness that i didn't know existed...it's a continuous process...the more i know..the more there remains to be known...

Within the context of your question, "heart" actually refers to "mind". Your question is one which each person ought to introspectively ask each day. Too many are content with never starting out on that journey. Therefore, they have no idea WHY they believe the basic tenets of what they hold to be true in their lives. So much "parroting" and so little time set aside in life to know the person they really are. So much said and done every day just by rote memory and habit, and the result is a morbid dissatisfaction with life and the beauty around us.

My heart is an organ that keeps me alive, it is my brain that has my depth stored in there
