I don't think so, but it would sure be nice. Benoit is getting lost in the shuffle even though hi the U.S. Champion. Shame, he should still be a main eventer. Good luck 'Crippler'.

I like Benoit he's a proper wrestler & i hope he gets another decent run.Somehow i doubt it.These days he's reduced to a mid-carder facing the likes of Chavo or Mizz.
The big stars of the moment on S/Down are Taker,Batista ,Booker & Kane.Plus you have up-and-comers like Mr.Kennedy & MVP.Any title challenges i guess will come from this lot. Taker won the Rumble so he gets a title shot.Kennedy will surely get a crack as well.So i think Benoit will be back of the queue for a while yet.

The WWE better have Chris Benoit win the World title again. He is the best wrestler on Smackdown and is actually the best wrestler in the WWE, and don't tell me it is because he doesn't have good mic skills, he does, the thing is unlike others he doesn't have to talk alot to be popular, have you ever been to a show when he wrestles, he gets the biggest pop out of most of the other wrestlers. I hope that answers your question.

I hope and think he will. He definately deserves another run. I don't see it happening within the next 6 months, though.
