I am sure they do. Their rallying cry is "Vietnam!"

Recall that during the Vietnam conflict, they worked hard to demoralize Americans and to let the enemy know that if the enemy could just keep fighting a little longer, that demoralization strategy could result in an enemy victory.

In war, one always tries to demoralize one's enemies. To the Left, America is the enemy, especially since we just removed a Socialist Dictator from power. That really pisses them off.

The Far Left Wing ACLU Adoring Hyper Liberal Democrats are so filled with irrational hate for George Bush they would rather see the utter defeat of America in the Middle East and the unrestrained onslaught of Islam than see Bush succeed in any way shape or form!

That's the sad tale and they will soon see what that type of vitriol reaps when John McCain and Rudy Giuliani occupy the White House in '08 ... the only logical choice!

The Democrats continue to alienate the vast majority of Americans with their intellectually bankrupt statements i.e. Barbara Boxer's incredibly stupid remark to Condeleza Rice!

They can't see the truth staring them in the face blinded by their hate and yes they are encouraging these mad dog Muslims to fight on projecting the USA as a House divided !

That's what Liberals do!

Please get you head out of your a.., democrat/republican/independent whatever you are there is now no way to increase Iran's or the insurgents hatred toward us. They already have a genuine dislike for us and Iraq and they are doing what they want when they want and taking out or putting in troops, being for or against this war will not change that. If you would take your head out of the sand you would see that we are fighting a losing battle, we are losing the life's and families of our young men and women to no avail, this region has fought wars for centuries and will continue to do so no matter what George W. Bush says about democracy. We cannot force our government style where it is not wanted. This is not the school playground where your buddies will call you chicken if you walk away from the fight, this is the real thing where your buddies will call you dead if you stay!!!!

Noam Chomsky: "The best way to fight terrorism is to stop participating in it."

As a Dem, I would like my country to stop participating in terrorism NOW.

If you suspect that by perpetrating phrases like "emboldening the insurgents" you're being a pawn for a big PR machine, you might be right.

Bush's idiotic invasion of Iraq is emboldening Iran more than anything the Dems have done.
Iran knows that the US military is stretched to it's limits trying to stabilize Iraq, so they will continue to thumb their nose at the US.
I am sure Iran's leadership is jumping up and down in glee with the "surge" in American troops.

Of course. They can't afford a victory in Iraq. If we win the Iraq war, then that to them is a victory for bush and a victory in '08 for republicans.
