you would be better keeping it as a spare card considering the amount of money you would get for it(around £10($20))
you never know when your current card may become faulty so a spare card is always handy
i have a geforce 6600gt at the moment, but i also have a spare card in the shape of a geforce 6200(128mb),and i also have a old radeon 9250 (in my opinion the best card in its range(4 pixel pipelines,200+mhz core clock)
some websites take your old card towards the purchase of your new card, this option would probally be better as you may get £30/$60 knocked of the price of a new card
good luck mate

I took a quick peek on eBay and judging by completed listings, you can fetch anywhere from $10 to $40 depending on which model you have.

AGP cards are going away, in favor of the faster PCI-express cards.
