Yes the City Council determined that there were a lack of fudge-packers and lesbians on the team. Therefore, it did not properly represent the community.

They are proably going to move to Santa Clara. Although they already have practice there and everything but play there. Might as well play there. Oh and if the retards in San Fran get their way then yeah they will have to change the name from San Fran. Personally I hope they do just to get back at those idiots.

The Niners are toying with the possibility of moving out of San Fransisco to a smaller market still in the Bay Area. From what I understand, they will still be called the S.F. 49ers, they just won't actually be in S.F.

they aren't leaving the city wouldn't build them a new stadium so the team is and has been talking to the town of santa clara for a stadium deal they are moving ten minutes up the road and will still be called the san fransisco 49ers
