Hi! Friends,
I want to explain the importance of MUSEUMS to our 5year old kid before taking her there. Please let me know some tips.

Don't explain before you go. There is no way you can make them sound as interesting as they are. Take your kids. Make them worksheets related to the museum - as in find a , draw a , what is your favourite, find a hairy, how many --- can you find. They'll love it. Take them and take them back again. Once they've been they'll understand how important museums are. Good luck!!!

Just say you're taking her someone fun where there's lots of exciting things to look at. Make sure her first experience of museums is somewhere child friendly, like the Science Museum or Natural History Museum.

Don't try to explain before you take him there. Just take him, and let him enjoy the experience for himself. No amount of words can describe the real thing.
