I know this site - http://maplink.uol.com.br/index.asp and they have a street guide and maps for Brazil most important citys.
I have made a research in the site, and i found this map.
I tried to put the link in this answer, but the yahoo doesnt allowed

Go to http://www.guiamais.com.br/ruas/?localeUfId=BA&localeCityId=Salvador
Just copy and paste the adress "R Joao Gomes, 128, Salvador, BA" on the space "Endereços" and press the "buscar" button.
If you wish to see a hybrid image of the city map mixed with google earth sattelite pictures, press the "hÃbrido" button.

This one is in portuguese, but u click on the map and Rio Vermelho is down the bottom of the map. is easy. By the beach.
