Unlocking a phone is only a benifit with GSM providers. Once a GSM phone is unlocked, it can be used with any GSM carriers sim card.
You Have Sprint and Sprint is CDMA technology. Unlocking a CDMA phone serves no purpose. Veizon also is CDMA but Verizon requires you to use a Verizon phone. In theory, a Sprint phone would work on the Verizon network but Verizon will not activate and allow you to use it

In the U.S. the verizon thingy is true. But here in canada, If you got that unlocked and came to canada, you could use TELUS Mobility, Virgin Mobile, and Bell Mobility! I have TELUS Mobility, It's a wonderful service.

Never heard of your phone or provider but in England lots of places unlock phones...markets etc cost £5 normally

They work on a different Network than Sprint.
Verizon is GSM whereas Sprint is on a CDMA Network.
Thats why if you look at the Treos, they come in CDMA and GSM.
So in other words, no.
