I guess that would depend upon how much he weighed when he was born. I know that babies are supposed to double their birth weight by the time they are a month or two old, so if he weighed 8 pounds at birth he should weigh 16 pounds at least by the time he's two months old. So, maybe, a 3 month old should weigh, like, 20 pounds or so. It would probably be best to check with your baby's pediatrician to make sure he's on track.

I'm sure it varies but my son weighed 16 lbs at 3 months and weighs 19 lbs at 4 months. He also had a nice headstart at weighing in over 10 lbs. at birth. He's a large child with a large head. Cute, though!

As much as your pediatrician thinks he should. It depends on his birth weight and your method of feeding. Breast fed babies gain weight faster than formula fed ones, but it all evens out between 9-12 mos. He should have gained his birth weight back and then some.
Call you doctor. That is what they are for. They can also give you a birth weight chart to plot his growth. It is more important that he show progress along his own curve, not someone elses.
