Very shortly before seeing Titanic, I read an article that said that if you feel like you're about to cry during a movie, you can prevent it by concentrating on something else, like counting the seats in the theater, and that's what I did when Leonardo DiCaprio died.
Other movies that almost made me cry include Dancer in the Dark, AI, and One Stormy Night.

I've seen Titanic several times and didn't cry, though I loved the movie. Why do you want to make us all the same, exactly like you? How boring would that be!

Yes, but not about the love tragedy. I cried when the poor woman read the story to her children to put them to sleep because she knew death was inevitable for all of them. The strength that must have taken to keep them feeling calm and secure even during her most frightening moment. Beautiful example of love...

Bawled my eyes out. I still get an almost overwhelming feeling of panic when the ship starts to sink and everyone is rushing to the boats - the entire last half of the movie is frightening to me and in my opinion, one of the best bits of film-making since the Godfather.
