Terry C, I'm not sure if you watched the playoffs at all last year or basketball in general, but the Mavs made the Finals. To answer the question, yes I believe they are poised to make another Finals run and might just have the team this year to win it all. With Josh Howard having a breakout year combined with the always consistant play of Dirk and the veteran leadership of Jason Terry, Dampier and Stackhouse, this team could go a long way.

After going up final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days in the NBA championship 2 video games to 0 on the warmth and then gazing it slip away, they're on a challenge to do in basic terms a million element, screw 70 video games and screw all that reg. season stuff, its approximately prevailing a call. They be conscious of the heartbreak of dropping and which will rigidity them so they are able to be conscious of the excitement of prevailing. The Mavs are by far the main gifted group in the land authentic now, yet be cautious of the Spurs, and then there is often the Pistons and probable the warmth if the ultimate participant in the game immediately returns (Dwyane Wade). yet those adult adult males are pushed and that they do have the main gifted group on the floor, plus between the ultimate coaches in the game. Its not undemanding to think of they wont win all of it yet nevertheless thats why they play the video games!

Yes, the Mavs are and here's why. The mavs have the best defense in the league and there's an old saying, offense wins seats and defense wins Championships. The Suns have a great offense and it did propel them to a 17-game win streak, but all the mavs need to do is to get them on their transition. Transition offense is what the Suns excel in, and ironically transition defense is what the Mavs excel in. The Heat have a good perimeter shooter in D-Wade and in james Posey. We now have people that can contain both of those players and still have enough firepower in Dirk and J-How to outscore our opponents.

Poise for one - Yes, but the rest of the league is not going to lay down for them and the Suns are for real, so a NBA title is not guaranteed.

I think the Suns have the best team in the West, and you can't count out the Spurs. But Dallas could--memo to Terry C.--repeat as the conference champion, it's definitely possible. I'd put my money on PHX, though.

Yes. They are on a mission to reconcile some unfinished business. They basically lost last year off of 3 plays total.

They are a complete team playing all around team ball.

This year is their year and the can feel it and know it.

Yes, but unfortunately the results will be the same. In fact I'd be surprised if they represented the West again this year.

they probally are. this year they are more dangerous. the only team dallas needs to compete against is suns. since detroit and miami aren't good this year, they are probally going to get the title. suns always loose to the mavs.

maybe they are good and have good players like Dirk and Josh Howard and they have good shooters and Dirk is just amazing
they most likely won't get past the suns but there is a chance
