it will be hot and chilly (lowest 60 degrees.F.and highest as 95 degrees F.) i am going for a week and am going to swim a lot!!!

You did not mention when you were coming, so I would say if you are coming in the winter, and you are coming from up north, bring a light jacket or sweater and jeans. If you are coming during our one-two weeks of spring, same thing, but include a pair of shorts. Be advised that the water temperature in the Gulf will be only in the mid 60's until the end of March, so bring plenty of towels with you. Also, when you go swimming in our waters before the end of March, you are automatically marked as a tourist and treated as such :-) [natives have a tendency to point and laugh and shake heads alot].
Don't worry about bringing alot of dress clothes, we are pretty casual down here, even when dining out in the evening. Some high end restaurants will ask for at least a shirt and tie, but they are few and very far between! (Thank God)

if you are planning on coming soon its like 40 degrees out right now and is only going to get colder rain for the next 5 days too.
