currently the cavs.
Why?
because so many teams are close with no dominant team in the East but the cavs have the best player and that's what franchise players do.
close call with Arenas in the mix but LeBron outbattled him last year in the playoffs so edge King James.
Heat are definatly a wild card but need a Healthy and productive Shaq

Obviously as of today, the Wizards are in first place and look like the team to beat. The team that always seems to be there in the end is the Pistons. I believe it'll be neck and neck throughout the rest of the regular season between these two teams with the Pistons edging them out for the #1 spot. The Wizards always play them tough and will be a force throughout the playoffs with the Big 3 carrying the team. The wild-card team in the East has to be the Bulls and they could become the favorites if they can pull off the much-rumored acquisition of Pau Gasol. The Miami Heat can't be completely counted out just yet, but even with a semi-healthy Shaq they're not scaring anybody.

The Wizards. Gilbert Arenas is a nightmare match up for any opposing team that faces them.
He has that team heading in the right direction and when they click on all cylinders beware.

I would have to say the Wizards and not because they are currently in first.
I say that because they have MVP candidate Gilbert Arenas guiding them, Caron Butler who is one of the most consistent small forwards in the game, and Antawn Jamison who is not as consistent but does show up big from time to time.
They could be a problem in the playoff if all three were to get hot.

right now i say the wizards but sooner or later Gilbert will have to cool off so in the long run i will say the cavs because they have a lot of depth with lebron hughes gibson gooden and the most underrated player in the league Anderson Varajeo aka the "Wild Thing"

Who cares? Why not worry about what you are (or aren't) doing with your own life instead of trying to live through someone else's?
Pro sports are nothing but a huge waste of money that could be put to a million and one better uses.
