You can increase your chances of having a girl by inseminating or having sex a few days ahead of ovulation, and a boy by having sex closer to time of ovulation. See the books "Choosing the sex of your baby" or "Taking Charge of your Fertility".

You can also have your husband's sperm sorted for one sex deciding kind of sperm, but it gets pricey.

With frozen sperm, unsorted, it's 66% chance of having a boy.

Chances of having Girl after having 2 boys??

It's the same chance as getting a girl as your first child -assuming it's the same spouse =). Anyways, I don't mean to alarm or scare you or anything like that, but if after your 6th boy, you're still trying to get a girl, there is some research in genetics that I've read that may make a male unable to produce female offspring. Something to do with a faulty chromosome.

But I'm sure it's just luck of the draw! My mom had 4 boys! She's still hoping for a girl even though there will be a significant age gap between us siblings.

Best of luck though! I'll keep your dreams and wishes at the back of mind and hope they come true.

It is always a 50/50 toss up. My mom's mom had 1 girl 1 boy and then 5 more girls. My Dad's mom had 3 boys and then adopted a girl! Happy and healthy is all that matters right? Good luck!!

Hi Dear. Not that I think it has any validity but I had two precious little boys and my third baby was a girl. I was so happy I could not stop crying. I had wanted a little girl so badly that I was really ashamed of myself. I knew that all I should care about was that the baby was healthy but I could not stop my yearning for a little girl. She continues to be the light of my world. Every woman needs a daughter, no doubt!
Good Luck!
