Why? What does juice have to offer that formula or breast milk doesn't? Juice (yes even 100% juice) is LOADED with empty calories and sugars. Wouldn't you rather fill your baby's tummy with something more valuable to them? Nix the juice and stick to formula/breast milk, or even plan old water.

The only time we EVER offer juice is to aid in constipation.

I started giving my son juice when I started introducing solids. I mix 1/2 water and 1/2 white grape juice and he has some during his feedings.

Not before 6 months. Breastmilk or formula only, till 6 months. After that, introduce cereal, then veggies and then juice.

Dentists refer to apple juice as cavity juice, so try to give juice sparingly. It's just empty calories, no real nutritional value.
