Use an oxygenated bleach solution, using something like Oxy-Clean. Then use a shop vac to get all the moisture out of the seats. You will need to let the car air out, windows down, preferably in a warm place, for several days. The excess moisture in the car is what caused the mold, and if you don't dry it out, it will be back.

Most mold removers have bleach as a base, so your options are limited.
You might try lysol spray and a brush.
Your best bet might be to call or visit your local hospital and ask for their advice. I'm sure they are aware of products that will kill the mold if not remove it. Then you can use a seatcover.

counting on what the vehicle's worth to you, i could attempt to sell it or donate it to charity. Bleach will kill mildew, dry air and solar will save it from turning out to be. yet you're able to desire to discover the source! you will probable could tear out the carpets and/or the headliner to discover it. Carpets are not that undesirable, you only might desire to do away with the seats and a few plastic molding, however the headliner won't in any respect bypass lower back in good lower back. as quickly as you detect it, you're able to desire to repair it, or it is going again, and you do no longer want to breath moldy air!
