Plastics are safe ...Yes,

Actually Plastics for Packing Food Stuffs is prepared for such a purpose; especially when you know it is not like Tins or Cans, where a Water or Solvent Packaging Coating is usually coated internally to prevent Metal Corrosion...etc.

In all cases, it is not advisable to leave food stuffs for prolonged periods of time in Plastics or otherwise, as it tends to get an unfavorable taste with the passage of time...

Nothing is as good as GLASS for Food Stuff Packing...

But as a general rule, you should know that Bacteria will always find its way inside any Packing used for food stuffs, causing as such unfavorable tastes in the long run, especially when it comes to Pickeling Stuff... so might as well not worry much on this issue...We are filled up with unfavorable stuff inside...!!

I merely use ice cube trays, yet there are cases while my trays have been finished and that i merely had a dash greater foodstuff. if so, I did freeze them in the Gerber plastic field, yet I never microwaved them. I enable them to take a seat in warm water, then slid out the foodstuff and warmed up the foodstuff in a microwave risk-free bowl. I now use those containers to shop different issues, which incorporate my salad dressing when I p.c.. a salad, or to shop some nuts as a snack.

i know it's really wrong to heat things in plastic in microwaves, they secrete diplomene or something like that, this thing causes cancer especially breast cancer. the safest way is glass. and if ure not willing to heat anything, it depends on the quality of plastic, there's refined plastic which is more expensive of course.

I think so long you don't pack hot stuff in plastic packing, it should be fine.
