Good is relative. It is an important book that any educated, well read person should read.
It is not an edge of your seat thriller written by an accomplished author, but it is a classic -- there is truly nothing else like it. It is incredibly genuine (the unedited version, anyway), a remarkable piece of history, and a personal account of an historic tragedy that is amost too big and evil to comprehend. It is hard to feel for "the holocaust", but it is much easier to have sympathy and empathy for an individual person.
Read the book. You'll likely never regret it.

I thought it was very interesting. I was somewhat surprised of all the activity that went on in the attic, because I was under the assumption they could barely ever make noise, but they led pretty normal lives. There is definitely some drama from being cooped up in so close a space with certain people for so long, and I think this added a humourous aspect to the diary. It's very real and simple. I enjoyed it (but I didn't have to read it for school).

If you like reading books about the Holocaust like I do, it is a very good book and full of information about the Holocaust and what the Jewish people had to go through during that time.....Unfortunately, some of the boys in my class kept making fun of how she wanted to become a woman and how Anne Frank went into detail about that........anyway, it's an awesome book... :)

There is nothing else in the world quite like it. You will read lots of other books, some school assignments, some for pleasure, but you will never forget Anne's diary, which she never meant for you or anyone else to read.

It's Anne Frank and yes, it's quite good. It's very sad because it's a true story. I've read it about five times.

Yes.
It's not just a title, but the ACTUAL diary of Ann Frank. She existed under terrible circumstances and maintained her humanity.
