Okay, you may find this to be a pathetic question but I need to know if this is okay or not. Today at lunch, I was really sleepy and my best friend (who's a guy) told me I could put my head on his shoulder and sleep. I was going to...but then something stopped me. I think it was more or less because I was worried that I don't have a "right" to do that since he has a girlfriend. Do you think that it is okay for me to put my head on his shoulder?...I was just wondering...

For the record, his girlfriend took him from me...in a very manipulative way...and what's even more sad, shes my ex best friend.

I think you did the right thing by NOT resting your head on his shoulders. It shows that you have morals and respect for him and his girlfriend. Even though you two are just friends, others, maybe including his girlfriend might think otherwise if you would have done that.

Sounds complicated I think you didn't because you have feelings for him and being a person of high moral standing you didn't want to stoop to his girlfriends level, Being friends with him must be hard but I wouldn't worry he's not married to her and the best woman may win just yet

Sure why not? As long as his girlfriend doesn't mind. Two of my best friends were boys in highschool, nothing was meant by any affection we showed each other.

i think its ok to put ur head on his shoulder because its not anything bad but think about it....if he were u bf...would u get jealous of a best friend?
