Hi!

Look at my previous blogs on my 360! I have some help for you on there about home protection for future.

As you know it was only a while back i woke up to a stranger standing over my bed.

When the prints were taken from obvious places, (any excuse to get a fit policeman powder my bum LOL!) they also took my prints.

They will check databases to see if the prints are familiar.. (hang on a minute, what happens if i burglered myself!)

and likewise make you sit for 5.1 seconds at a computer looking at mug shots. ( I particular like the tea cup picture myself).

You will also be able to get the chance to do an e-fit (thats if you had time to wake up and figure out whether the shadow had blue or brown eyes!)

and then give you a personal statement card with victim number, tell you not to have nightmares and also not let you know that they infact know the bloke, because they released from the cells the previous night before, but only cautioned him.

I think you can buy home fingerprint kits.. If so
1. Take your own set of prints off the house.. (point of entry)
2. Dupe your suspect into touching something..
3. See if they match.. (that part might be tricky)
4. Watch all of the Rocky films/read an Andy Mcnabb book..
5. Get an old fashioned justice stick..
6. Uphold the law in whatever manner you see fit..
7. Avoid leaving any witnesses..
8. Deny everything and make no comment until you see a solicitor..

Don't know. I don't think they will give you any info until they investigate. but watch what you do.. I can tell you that they will be looking at you as suspect first.... Fo rinsurance fraud... It happened to our friends.. someone broke in when they were gone and lit their house on fire, and they were accused of that... I know they didnt; do it.
( they have a 2 year old and 2- 6 months old twins.. why would they) They finally got everything worked, out and although they did find prints they still haven't got anyone.. I reccommend getting an alarm system to keep them out and if they do come back, you as well as the neighbors will hear it..
Insurance fraud is also look ed at when high priced things are stolen too...

I doubt very much if they would be given to you and if it was me I would feel the same and love to get hold of them only sadly to say it would be more likely that you then would get took to court, the law is a shambles it seems to do nothing for a victim if your burglar is caught he will probably get away with it.

I don't think you will get the prints, but if you tell the police whom you suspect, they could investigate further.

Although you may want to "kick the living crap outta them", this would be ill-advised, as you could end up being charged with assault, or worse.

I think you will have to let the police know of your suspicions, then they will deal with it by taking the suspects fingerprints and seeing if there is a match.

if you suspect someone tell the police maybe they will question them .
sorry to hear about what happened my daughter bike was stolen last yr few days after christmas and she was heartbroken but no trace of anything about ,i still to this day would love to know who took it .

If you suspect anyone give them a drink of wine from glass and bring glass to police .body language tell them house was burgled but police will be searching for the items lucky for you as you dabbed them in invisible ink that after few days appears on hands if he looks at his hands its him.
