I think their all big icons.... but far as popularity I think it's Michael Jordan...World wide his name is known more known then the others. Exspecilly now that Yoa is in the NBA, the BIGGEST country in the world is interested in the NBA and it's history. MJ is more popular then Jesus world wide. Most people in China(the biggest country in the world) haven't even heard of Jesus but they heard of MJ, and some countries doesn't practice christianity but they'll watch sports..... So I'll have to say MJ's the biggest icon....

i have to go with michael jordan. while everyone may know who jesus is that doesnt make him an icon! you dont find people that got up at 5:30am to get in line for the new "air jesus" shoe. MJ is an entire market! people wanna be like mike! plus jordan came back twice - jesus only once! ;)

The fact that you think China is the biggest country in the world goes to show just how much you know.
I would have to still say Jesus is the most well-known person in that list. If not religiously, then historically. And if neither, then because from talking to other people.
In developed countries, if it isn't Jesus, it's the Beatles. Definitely not Michael Jordan though. Not everyone watches sports and those that do don't necessarily watch basketball.
