The lights on PIR detectors, these are independant of the PIR's and can be lit by computer (or manually).
I think the speed is limited by the speed the bulbs warm up, they are those slim halogen types.

never heard of this, but I can tell you that halogen lights light up immediately.
More energy efficient lights will take a while to reach full brightness

Be aware that you will be replacing lamps with monotonous regularity....
If you live on/near the coast, avoid the same flash rate as the local lighthouses...!

Pillock. Here we are trying to save energy and you're wasting it, and creating light pollution too.

May all your bulbs blow and your electricity bill be sky high.
