I'm having a date come over to watch a movie but I have absolutely no clue on what to rent. Any ideas??

If you haven't seen it, "Walk the Line" is a good date movie because of it's "love conquers all" theme; also "Thank You For Smoking" because it's smart and funny as hell.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding, probably the only "date" movie my wife and I both like. Another one I liked was Jump Tomorrow, but it will probably be hard to find.

I've sat through ones I didn't like just to be with certain women (bed or roses, when a man loves a woman), but I didn't exactly run out and tell my friends how great they were afterwards.

My husband and I recently watched "Click" with Adam Sandler. We both laughed a lot and really liked it. It does have some pretty serious moments too, so you could see what kind of "heart" your date has. It could definitely stimulate some interesting conversation.

Yeah Date Movie...It makes fun of all the rest of the date movis but is a date movie in itself...freakin beastly

just go to blockbuster and look in the new releases and find a comedy. something both of you would like, not to girly, not to violent... etc. a good ones would be spanglish or million dollar baby.

"Date movie" --- NO WAY. The movie sucks. You could rather try scary movies, american pie series or "What women want" ..... anything that is fun and enjoying..
